Access Finacle Application in Internet Explorer(IE) in Windows 11
Internet Explorer (IE), after more than 25 years of service, has officially retired and is no longer supported as of June 15, 20221. While it played a significant role in shaping the web, its quirky behavior and security limitations led to its eventual retirement. However, Microsoft Edge, a faster, more secures, and modern browser, has taken its place.
Finacle Application and Internet Explorer:
While Internet Explorer is no longer officially supported, it’s understandable that many end users are accustomed to using it, especially in environments like Post Offices where Windows 7 is prevalent.
Fortunately, Microsoft Edge with IE mode provides a solution. It allows users to access legacy applications while benefiting from the modern browser experience1.
VBS Program for Internet Explorer Accessibility:
If you need to use Internet Explorer accessibility for Finacle Application, consider using the following VBS program

Copy the above text and paste into notepad and save as Finacle.vbs. Now open Finacle.vbs for Opening Finacle Application in Internet Explorer in Default.

Bulk GL Posting Tool Version 3.5
This tool can be used for bulk GL posting in SAP using ZBF07. It can convert McCamish reports in Excel format to a text file that can be used to bulk GL posting.

Properly segregate the revival premium into FY premium and RY premium.
Properly segregate GST from the initial premium (McCamish report ignores GST on initial premium).
Option added for grouping records into a single document based on date, office, cash account, and document type (Will post documents similar to POSB GL integration figures).
Option for exporting records to an Excel file added (available in the bottom right corner of the table).
Column for profit center added in the summary report.
Able to view the summary of all offices simultaneously.
Issue with mapping office names due to unnecessary blank spaces in the McCamish report is fixed.
Option for searching GL account head added in both data entry menus for a seamless process.

Tool for comparing PLI/RPLI figures accounted for in SAP with premium collected in Mccamish. This tool can generate detailed and consolidated comparison reports along with error extracts if any differences are detected. So you can easily find out delinquent offices and ask them to make necessary corrections quickly.
Please run the installer extracted from the zip file downloaded, it will upgrade your current Application without losing your data or install fresh for new users. You do not have to uninstall the old version.
